The Juju CrewBiography
Three musicians converged in Dunedin, New Zealand in early 2004 to form The Juju Crew. They merge multi-textured vocals, percussive acoustic guitar, and a funk/punk/jazz infused rhythm section. The trio generates a smooth and organic sound with a serrated edge while Juju’s honest lyrics take on a poetic, realistic and sometimes troubling approach.
Their self-produced debut album “In Sea” was independently released in 2006 by their own label Oscillosonic Records.
