Biography

In the modern era of the heavy metal genre you find a lot of different styles or sub genres which encompass a multitude of influences from all the metal music innovators. Taking on what has been done to birth metal in the 80’s and adding to it elements of electronica and modern extreme metal, The Judas Syndrome aim to take the future of metal by storm.

The Judas Syndrome is THRASH FUCKIN METAL at heart with a modern twist in their sound. Intricately blending harmonized guitars with high tempo rhythms and one of the most distinct and recognizable voices in underground metal. They have all the chugging, riffing, melodic and pissed vocals one has come to expect in a modern heavy metal band.

Thus far, the band has performed in several major venues in New York City as well as hit the road to surrounding Eastern Atlantic states. Relentless hand-to-hand promotion as well as internet buzz have earned the band spots opening for national metal acts such as As I Lay Dying, Winds of Plague, Despised Icon, After The Burial, Nile, The Acacia Strain, Sworn Enemy, and Your Demise to name a few.

The Judas Syndrome have managed to draw considerable attention to themselves with their debut independant release “Underneath Blood Skies” charting at #9 on CMJ Loudrock charts. The first single “Death of the Soul” was widely well received nationally by radio and the video for the single debuted on MTV2 Headbanger’s Ball in August 2010.
