Biography

Guitarists Remy and Derek Normandin had no intensions of slowing down after the collapse of Southern, New Hampshire Metalcore band “All Is Forgotten” in early 2006. Within weeks they had found Drummer Corey Cain (Regret Me Not) and Vocalist Patrick Bosse (In Forever). The lineup only lasted so long before leaving The Jonah Veil with Drummer Jason DiCicco (Red On The Day, A Tree To Hang From) and Bassist Nate Chaney (Black Onyx). After two months of writing and preparing for studio time Drummer / former Texan Keith Crowling was carefully place into the mold, and brought into the studio to record the debut two song E. P recorded at A.I by Scott Somethington. Another lineup change brought Acton MA native, Johnny Kay, into the picture replacing Nate Chaney as Bassist. The band, with there updated roster, completed a 7 song EP the late summer of 2007 and are on a wrecking ball campaign across the country.

The Jonah Veil are coming into this fast and confusing genre with everything they can throw at a venue full of dance hungry Myspacers. This fall they will be heading back into the studio to record a brand new Demo. The rest of the story is unclear, Southern Comfort, Womens Garments, A Black Kid, and a Sex Machine in Canada?

Emocore? Really? haha I would definitely say metalcore. I've never even heard of emocore. I think emo gets used way too much in general. TJV is in no way emo haha. Flame me if you must. I won't care.
