the jims are a punk rock band from Binghamton, New York. Featuring Griff and Nick Jagger (the rhythm section of AAHHHH) and Dave Rice (of Basement Audio), the jims are out to rule the world. After forming in 2007 and releasing their debut album (the jims first album) in 2008, the jims regrouped to record their second effort, live in the basement. Before that could be released, the jims jumped back into the studio to record another ep; the jims: entertain you. the eps were released together on march 2009’s the jims. In summer 2009, the jims recorded he 16 song ep the jims do it for the kids. to wrap up 2009, the jims released the free 8 song ep merry christmas, fuck you. the album is available for download on www.thejims.net. In 2010 the jims released another self titlted ep. the jims (2010) packs 9 songs into 6 minutes and includes the instant classic “senator libous is a fucking weaselface.” In March of 2011 the jims released the jims go commercial, a series of jingles and accompanying music videos. These can be found on youtube. Following that up, the jims released the Help You Help Yourself and frog singles in 2011, while preparing their upcoming 15 minute epic album choose life.
