    I adore The Jam, but the "come on now, come on now" bit in the intro is straight off the Ramones song of the same name. Same vocal melody, same phrasing, same lyric.

    ...this was the last single before they split, (I bought this when it came out on a double 7" single), hence this was the style that Paul was moving into, begun on the album 'The Gift' IMO....
