This is such a smooth dancing record. Just two step your troubles away. Love this man.

You hear so much future Michael in this song. He used a lot of the vocal inflections in this song (and on the Destiny album) on his Invincible album.

Classic track, and so gorgeous. I didn't "get" it until I got older. Makes me a little sad at times but good memories overall. Reminds me of being little and listening to Destiny on vinyl. Love you MJ, and still missing you like crazy!

Michael starts this song in his trademark whispery delivery with the enhanced layered vocals like 'Got to be there', but later really gets into it with his grit 'n' grunt pumpin' adlib during the vamp-fade-out. Classic Mike. Like the childhood michael that got us hooked on him, with 'I Want You Back'. That's the Michael I remember from my childhood days, seeing the J5 win talent-shows in Gary, Ind. He was just as spunky even when they were rehearsing in their backyard for all to see. I didn't have very far to walk to hear them. I lived at 1755 Jackson St. and they were down the street in the 23 hundred block(2300 Jackson St.). Glad to see that become a great song also. They put us(Gary, Ind.) on the map in the media. We were proud of them when they did the Ed Sullivan Show, as he announced....."And now, from Gary, Indiana, the Jackson 5." Michael, I knew the group was going to be great because of you. You were 'one-of-a-kind'. I'll miss your spin.

gosh i love this one! part of my discovery of overlooked jacksons tunes after mj died. michael's lead vocals are exquisite on each of the jacksons post-motown albums.
