The InfestedBiography
The band was formed in Leeds, U.K. in about 2004. Originally a three-piece with G on bass/vocals, Lee on guitar/vocals, and Knox on drums, the band soon recruited Chris on bass/backing vocals so that G could add an extra guitar. Their Buy to Survive demo was self released later that year, consisting of four badly recorded songs.
Most of 2005 was spent writing material and doing one-off gigs, until they were asked to record six songs for Sheffield label NO-RULES Records. This CD EP, The Infested, featured six tracks and included “Frustration” and “Discipline”. Also around this time, The Infested teamed up with Stza from Leftover Crack, to do a short European tour as The Crack Rock Steady 7. This tour consisted of a set by The Infested followed by a set of Choking Victim/Leftover Crack pieces fronted by Stza.
In June 2006 Callum from Lincoln band MCD accompanied the band to take guitar duties from Lee to enable him to focus more on vocals.
