Ahaha that guy down there who dubbed over the first line of the song is hilarious. As if Christopher Robin would fix the problem that he perceives. I don't recall that part in Winnie the Pooh.

Who the hell dubs over songs with their own lyrics? Seriously what the fuck is wrong with you?

Does 'ouwho' realise that most of the song is *about* John Berryman?

i still don't understand why people have a problem with on the road, or kerouac in general.

oh, i don't mind it now that i've fixed the first line. la la la... yes, quite happy to listen to that while i do the dishes. it'll do.

Why do you keep listening to a song that seems to upset you so much?

duh. it's a wanky book and people who name-drop it in songs are full-on wankmeisters. i have now used goldwave to dub the words "christopher robin" over "sal paradise". it doesn't scan so well but it saves me from being overwhelmed by self-loathing every time i listen to it. i'm thinking of replacing the john berryman reference with "pg wodehouse" too.

Sal Paradise is the main character in "on the road" by Jack Kerouac. The first line is just right.

This is one great band. Lots of references to "On the road" by Jack Kerouac here.
