Nick is a folk troubador in the tradition of Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, and the young Bob Dylan. He lives his life and writes of the experiences he's had and the things he sees around him. If some of his songs border on the absurd, it's because of the absurd world we live in.
Their debut record Idigaragua was an indie-rock opera performed with a full cast of actors and dancers that was written up nationally by Variety Magazine. While working on their follow-up record, Fort Wilson Riot amicably pared down to the duo of Amy & Jacob, joined, and toured with the band Ice Palace opening for Cloud Cult on there Fall Tour of 2009.
Iain Blair was born in the Ukraine during the Soviet era. After the USSR dissolved, he traveled across Europe and eventually swam across the Atlantic Ocean at the ripe age of 4. He continued his journey in the United States until his senses told him that he should stop in Chanute, Kansas. He began playing guitar at age 7 and practiced at least 38 hours a day until he mastered the instrument.
Couch Forts is Owen Kelley (guitar, bass drum, vocals), Matt Opachick (fiddle), and Tyler Evans (banjo). The band is currently based in Columbus, Ohio. Their musical styles are primarily American folk and bluegrass.
Ahdieh (Ahdieh Badiee) is a Persian pop singer. She was born in Iran and became known as a singer on Iranian National Radio and TV, and through songs for films. She left Iran and now lives in Spain with her Spanish husband and children. She speaks English, Spanish, and native Persian.
