Formed in 2000 as a solo project, The Hair Thieves took their name from a Eddie Izzard sketch, about why old ladies only ever buy dog food and hair nets.
The Hair thieves play an eclectic mix of ambient indie pop rock with occasional jazz, punk and soundtrack overtones.
