there is a lot of shoegaze influence in it as well. More so than the psychedelia of pink floyd, at least that I hear.

i never really paid attention to this particular the gathering album, even though i have been a fan for quite some time. i must say it is as awesome as their later releases, particularly track no. 3 "in motion #1". i never heard them sound so epic!
