Made up of MC Brew (emcee), DJ Poyo (producer/deejay), and The Top Civilian (emcee) — The Gateway Drug is known for their funkdafied jungle beats, dope freestyles, philosophical musings, spaced-out instrumentation, and off-the-wall, thought provoking lyrics. But don’t let the Hip-Hop label fool ya, these guys are more ‘roving troubadour poets’ than they are ‘hardcore rhymers’.
