I'd say The Fray at least equaled their efforts of the previous album with this one, "Syndicate", "Say When" and "Enough For Now" are really impressive stuff. I'd say their hits are weaker on this album compared to the previous and even the later album, and also people need to stop picking the worst hits (in this case "You Found Me", which both "Never Say Never" and "Syndicate" are better than) and play them over and over and over again.

v Read my second comment, I already acknowledged the fact that many bands self title sophomore albums. I didn't know that was the reason why they decided to do it in this case though, thanks for the info. Although I don't see much of a change from their debut to this album so I don't understand how this one "defines" The Fray more than How To Save A Life does but whatever.

@LightsOfBohemia Razorlight self-titled their 3rd album, One Night Only release their second album today which is Self titled and lots of other bands do it. The reason The Fray did it is because, they say, this album defines 'them', what they want to do with music etc.

Nevermind, apparently some bands self-title their albums after the debut (The Libertines and The Cure for instance). ButIstill think it's lazy. This one isn't half bad.
