Biography
R&B vocal group from Vashon High School in St. Louis, consisting of lead John Jordan (d. 6/16/88, age 74), Robert O’Neal, Norval Taborn (d. 1/23/90, age 74) and Ray “Happy Pappy” Grant Jr. Their single “Comin’ In On A Wing And A Prayer” hit the pop charts at #20 in July 1943, with the flip side “It Can’t Be Wrong” reaching #3 on the R&B charts.
