Biography

The Fleeting Ends are a band from Upper Darby, an industrial suburb of Philadelphia, PA. Two friends from school, Matt Vantine (vox, guitar) and Matt Amadio (drums, vox) form the core of The Fleeting Ends. Rusty Langely (bass) rounds out the group.

Their sound owes as much to their American roots as to the British classic and new wave bands they obsess over. Their self-titled debut record’s sound gives a nod to XTC’s Black Sea, and includes a cover of The Smith’s “Girl Afraid.” Take the Rolling Stones swagger, The Beatles melody, pour it through a funnel of The Clash and strain it with Wire and you have The Fleeting Ends.
