Biography

The Final Goodbye is a statement to ourselves and our generation that we no longer are defined by this world. Through the power and freedom of Jesus we can say “goodbye” to all that has held us back, fully embracing the future and call that God has for each and every one of us. His love is our new beginning, His mercy is new every morning.

At the end of 2006, just outside of Atlanta, The Final Goodbye began with Johnny Burkhalter as an acoustic worship project done in his spare time during weekends at local churches and venues. Along the way, he met a gospel artist named Eddie James who saw more than just a local calling. For the next two years TFG was put on the shelf while he traveled with that ministry growing and learning what it would take to bring TFG to the national level.

In 2009 TFG went on their first tour hitting South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Alabama, and among others, Florida. When they rolled into West Palm Beach on October 29th little did they know God was getting ready to do something that would change their lives. That night the speaker was a visiting pastor from Orlando named Clint Brown. Instantly God spoke to Pastor Brown, showing him the potential in TFG.

In January of 2010, he relocated them to Orlando, FL to be apart of His ministry at FaithWorld. The process of putting together their first praise and worship album then began.
