One of the greatest songs ever. I feel the joy of life coursing through this songs insistent rhythms. Each layer is stacked successively to create a genuine euphoria that few songs can match.

Without a doubt, one of the high points of American post-punk/new wave. The Feelies set their nervousness aside for three minutes, and give us something direct and muscular. (In short, they rock out.) The first two minutes are dominated by (atypically) fuzzy, distorted guitar and pummeling drums. There's a change in dynamics, too: it's a song of sections divided by a few moments of (relative) quiet, and the sound gets fuller in each section. The other songs on the album tend to fade in and out; but here the thuds of the drumming keep the momentum building and building. A powder keg is ready to to blow. About two minutes in, the song drops out--click, click--and then ... Boom! it explodes into a scorching final minute. Suddenly, the mix is thick with noise: cymbals are splashing, the bassline is frantic, and the guitar is louder and more distorted. Then the voices come barging in, and who could blame them? How could you keep quiet amidst such enthusiastic, joyous noise?

This whole album has super dynamics/composition. IE, a little fast, a little slow, here's some build-up, ooooh its rocking now! and so on.
