The Feedbacks began to play in Mieres (Asturias) at the beginning of 1995, when Adolfo, (singer, guitar player and composer), his brother Carlos, and two friends, Diego y Javi, with nearly no experience with bands, gather together to kill the time and also to emulate their idols, ancient melodic punk rock and power pop bands (Paul Collins’ Beat, Plimsouls, Romantics…)

From the beginning, they stand out as composers, writing a good deal of their own songs, some of which had a true melodic hook. In the middle of ‘95, and in spite of their instrumental inexperience, the band got into Paco Loco’s Odds studio to record a three-songs demo tape that would later turn into their first EP, “The Chords Are The Same”. No Tomorrow’s response when we first listened these songs was the same as the public’s: these guys are genius! Three excellent tunes that combine new wave tradition with influences from today’s punk pop bands such as the Parasites. The 7” became a fan favourite in a short time after its release, and the band got recording offers from labels as Rock Indiana and Screaming Apple. During 1996, the band recorded an EP for each of these companies; both of them are classics for ’90s punk pop / power pop devotees. They also released on No Tomorrow a split EP with The Cheeks, stars of said german label.
