  • 10 years ago today. RIP.
  • Forever my favorite band.
  • God I keep going back and listening to Guitar Romantic and it blows me away every time. It may just seem like silly/fun pop punk revival at surface (which it largely is) but there are some really touching moments as well. The lyrics to throwaway style are basically poetry. Fucking geniuses and I miss them.
  • no, i think they were very influential. they supplied a genre of music (rock and indie) with a much-needed shot of youthful sincerity and a devil-may-care attitude that was being slowly replaced by a jaded, hipstery state of mind, and still is. we need another band like the exploding hearts to shake things up again

  • fuck you badname
  • "So many bands these days take obvious influence from these dudes and I'm glad they're carrying the torch. Biters are a good example of this." or is it that they are still taking influence from The Clash, The Buzzcocks, The Undertones and so on..... while I like this band, can not help but think they are anything but original. It is good fun music, for what it is, it is a good release. But not one I would ever call original or refreshing.
