About this album

Livin it Up When I Die was the first album recorded under a new deal for U.S. based record company Five Minute Walk. The album was tracked and produced by Phil Madeira, one of the Nashville elite session players.

This album gave the band a new lease of energy by letting a little of the accoustic folk type sounds drift into more rock based music whilst still retaining that folky feel that had been the band trade mark since day one.

Once again, the Nashville friend circle came into play with session players dropping by to lay their bits to the songs. One such visitor and contributor turned out to be a man held in esteem by the Electrics as a hero of Scottish rock music … Stuart Adamson, front man of Big Country.
