The Electric Modern are an indie rock band from London, England.

With a sound that combines epic choruses, atmospheric synths and intricate guitar melodies, The Electric Modern have established their own brand of inventive and uplifting indie rock.

Since the band’s inception they have played many prestigious live music venues around the U.K as well as recording lots of material which later formed their self-titled album, “The Electric Modern”.

The first track off the album, “Let’s Get Away”, was awarded both download and single of the week on Amazing Radio and has also been used by Fashion brand “Le Coq Sportif” for their advertising campaign supporting “Le Tour De France” in 2012/2013. The song was also used by clothing brand ‘Jack Wills’ for an advertsiing campaign in 2013.

They have recorded live sessions with BBC Introducing and were also picked by Vibe Radio to play at the annual Watford firework display, performing to over 30,000 people.

As well as radio airplay they have had positive coverage in other media; including online blogs such as ‘Alter the Press’, ‘AltSounds’ and the influential American magazine ‘Alternative Press.’
