<3 <3 <3!!! I love every woman who's sung with this band. Every one of them has their own voice, and they're all beautiful sounds. I can't wait until they come around again, the shows are so lively.

Well... I just picked up the album Fast Paced World. Can't say it's bad.

allow me, it's worth it. It's a different direction but not by much. I still prefer Jesse's voice but this new (or not all that new) lady is an amazing singer with a lot of similar qualities. And for me, the percussion's better now.

I added a new photo from the band's web site that actually has the new lineup... go vote for it!

Saw them at IOTA last night in Arlington, VA. Great show!

Great band and good writeup, but have you independently verified "Scruj MacDuhk (pronounced Scrugg MachDuke). MacDuhk was a warrior chieftain who fought with William Wallace, resisting English occupation of Scotland, during the reign of King Edward I." Sounds like a leg pull (anybody remember Scrooge MacDuck?).

Grrrrrrr....ooovy stuff !!

I saw them last year at Greyfox, and it was absolutely incredible. They played on the main stage and at the dance tent, and they completely rocked both.

The new album won't be out until July but you can catch some of the new songs on a professionally recorded, mixed, and mastered FLAC download (CD-quality) via http://greenduhks.com/index.php?page=shop&display=Benefit_Concerts#62 as part of a post Earth Day 2008 no-CD download - not a bad deal for $10!

I'll attest to their live performances. I saw them in Reno a few years back at an outdoor amphitheater and it was an amazing show. It started to drizzle rain as their set closed, but the clouds parted while they played their last few songs. Everyone was wet but dancing and completely content. Has anyone heard Sarah Dugas sing yet? I haven't heard the band since Jessee left.

The Duhks do an absolutely marvellous live show; do see them if you get the chance sometime. I saw them at Hickoryfest this past summer and they rocked the stage out. Jessee is terribly sweet in person, too.
