    But check out the version of this on Live in Vancouver 1970. Jim's climactic scream is the greatest of any performance of this song I've ever heard.

    It's possible that there are versions out there with Ray Manzarek singing the vocal, which he would do in the event of Jim's absence from a Doors concert. That's the most likely explanation for it not sounding like Jim.

    Well, I'll probably search for it once I have some more spare time. It sounds bit like The Matrix Club Tapes, but the vocal is different, and of course it's not that recording. On the Matrix Club Tapes he also plays with lyrics adding strange rhymes though. Anybody? Someone must know this recording.
