  • Backwards tracks, sad melancholy lyrics, a cheerful slide guitar, poppy organ. Nothing about this song makes sense. It's perfect.
  • Two minutes are too few [2]
  • Next to "Light My Fire" and "Love Her Madly" my allt time Doors favourite! Stupenda!!
  • Listening to the album "Strange Days" the second by the band. Released in 1967 with all song writing credited to the entire band. Douglas Lubahn on bass guitar. The album, although reaching #3 on the charts, was considered by the producer, Paul A Rothchild, to be a commercial failure because he expected it would top the Beatles and all others in sales. Remember with all the great music released in 1967 the top selling album in the USA was "More Of The Monkees" by The Monkees.
  • My favorite lesser known Doors track! The reversed cymbal adds such a cool touch!
  • Beautiful music, The Doors are unique.
  • Two minutes are too few
  • Really invigorating to hear the variation in Jimbo's approach to different tracks and how he wants to get his vision from the lyrics across.
  • This song is fucking perfect!
  • This song describes me. Love it!
  • Reversed cymbal all the way!

  • "meh... can see why this isn't their best-known work. Good tune, but only mediocre by Doors standards" it's not a standard bluesy/sonorous doors but a tender, flowing, unassuming psychedelic pop song, still with the prophetic vocal performande of jim morrison. maybe their best song imo, top 5 for sure.
  • damn, I thought this was Pink Floyd in the first 5 secs :D

  • The keyboards sound so awesome! This is divine.
  • Manzarek played his keyboard backward and John Densmore played backwards high-hat in order to get that awesome sound.
  • Robby, and his slide guitar + Ray and his organ/piano bass + John's amazing and unique style of drumming + Jim's amazing voicee= Best Rock Band In The History of Rock N' Roll!!
  • one of their best
  • The Matrix version is unreal. Greatest keyboard effort by Ray. I love the psychedelic intro, it's a great song off of the greatly underrated Strange Days album.
