Stampede was an a very good album by a very good band that always put a very good show...the 4 times that saw them between 1970-1976

The last time I saw them, they put on one hell of a show. By the way, a whole lot of good stuff was written before 1970. Much better than the crap pop/rap/metal today.

Hmm..Haha,not bad material there,gdcman..You still driving that Tour Bus around the Hollywood Hills? Big tippers? You seemed to know that Ringo Starr had a big star in front of his palace in one of your shout-outs..Conceited fool you,bet you went to look for it!

The NEXT time you go on the road? Do you have enough depends on hand for that 2 city world tour through Springfield and Shelbyville? Didn't I drop enough change in your little cardboard box the last time I saw you playing in the sand at Venice Beach? I would have dropped some paper on you if you played anything written after 1970. I also would have shown up at your AA meetingto say hi if I knew where you lived.

Hey gdcman..There,there,be easy on yourself..I'm pretty sure there's a 12 step program SOMEWHERE for "assclowns" like yourself!..The first step is admitting you're an assclown..2nd step is not showing up on somebody's shoutpage whining about it!..You don't think I've heard my share on stage,on here,of people raggin' on me?..Love the Jimi Einstein comment,I may use it next time I go out on the road!..See ya around the Last.fm funny pages and if you say something stupid, moronic or just have a music fact error,I will be sure to point it out, son!

Thanks John. I am a better man now that you have let me know the error of my ways and how much of shitwipe moron I am. In no way was my first post an attempt to be humerous. "I was in Bands all my life, I just don't brag about it!"......Could have fooled me there Jimi Einstein.

@gdcman..I was listening to the Doobies over 40+ plus years ago!..When you were playing in your sandbox with your shit-filled huggies on,son!..Why do clowns like you assume a Musical superiority basis to everyone on the page?..It's not the first time I've seen you do this, patronize the shout-box!..This "....... The Hangman" song was out tail end of '75.more popular in Jan. 1976..I can tell you who/why they were on it!..I was in Bands all my life,I just don't brag about it!..You and your condescending attitude are just as bad as the dude below me @bossmark1 Aka "Shit for Brains",who in his typical 3 word vocabulary just says ."This Is Groovy". You've seen him around!..WTF.no musical genius here,no musical input,either!..Doesn't matter what song/genre/era/year,he just says."This is Groovy"..WTF!..Another moron!

THIS IS THE ONLY DOOBIES SONG I LIKE, AND I LIKE IT VERY MUCH! I REMEMBER THEY DID A GUEST SPOT WITH THIS ON A BLACK SITCOM CIRCA 1976 WITH A CHARACTER CALLED RERUN AND IT WAS REALLY WEIRD.

100th Listen for the Doobies! I knew there would be no shouts for this song. If it wasn't overplayed on the radio, LastFMers don't know it. Too bad. The Doobies have tons of great tunes y'all never hear.
