2) The Dogs were an underground phenomenon in Iowa during the 70s, they were a 3 piece band who played loud, raw, pre-punk similar to The Stooges and U.K. bands like Third World War, Hammersmith Gorillas and Crushed Butler. They released one single (Rot ‘n’ Roll b/w Teen Slime) and recorded a few other studio tracks later released by Rave Up records (Italy) in the late 90s. The band consisted of:
Jody Koenig- Guitar/Vocals
Ole Torvik- Bass/Vocals
and Erik Berg - Drums/Vocals
Greg Knipe was the original drummer, but he left early on to drum for Conway Twitty.
3) The Dogs are a rock band from Chicago, IL. The Dogs are family. Not literally, but close enough. The group has been inseparable since middle school, sharing a deep passion for cooking, Neil Young and making music. The Dogs are spread across the land: vocalist/guitarist Peter Walters in Minneapolis; bassist Matt Bachmann in Washington; vocalist Rivkah Gevinson in Norway; and multi-instrumentalist/producer James Krivchenia in Boston.
