This album when it was first released in 1982 came with an inner sheet which smelt of strawberries

  • Beneath the volatile aggression and intensity of this album, there lies a strawberry sweetness that is real sweet. Maybe I'm brainwashed by the strawberry-scented lyric sheet; but this is one of the most weirdly intimate records I've ever listened to.
  • Really like this album. Didn't like their tr00 stuff though.
  • What I meant is this album doesn't sound like punk, and that's probably why I like it more than their other stuff. It's much more similar to the Smiths or the Teardrop Explodes, than to traditional punk bands like the Sex Pistols and the early Clash. This stuff is way too polished to fit in with the whole "anarchy" thing.
  • @ Sosen haha! you were expecting punk? what on earth do you think this IS?? this is 100% original 1970's English Punk! They were one of the famous 1976 Anarchy Tour Bands, along with The Clash, The Sex Pistols and others.
  • It doesn't get any better than this
  • Eh, sounds like The Smiths? I don't agree.
  • What an album!
  • I expected... like... punk? A pleasant surprise. Sounds a lot like the Smiths, minus the attitude problem.
  • I remember the LP had a strawberry scent...
  • I love Strawberries and Phantasmagoria so damn much. They both get better with every listen!! =]
