Hypnotic, strange with a very original mood… nightmarish & melodic. Some listeners also consider it to be a modern form of .

I'm not saying they should be selling out arenas or anything. THAT would be hyperbolic. I'm just saying I think they deserve more appreciation. They barely even have that much of a cult following. I mean, they've got basically NO ONE giving them props here! And I don't get that. So if I sounded a little over the top, it was because I was trying to make up for what was previously the sound of crickets on this page. Shit ain't right. I think The Dagons have crafted some really beautiful songs and I'm just trying to show support for a band whose music means a lot to me and who I will always view as underrated and overlooked. Just trying to let anyone who stumbles across this band on know that they are definitely, definitely worth checking out.

tone down the hyperbole, eucaine. they're good, but the audience is minimal for a reason.

I can't BELIEVE more people don't like this band. I mean, I just don't get it. They're incredible. The Other Ending is one of the best albums I've ever heard. Teeth For Pearls is a classic. The Dagons are grossly, savagely, criminally underrated.

Aussi bon d'un point de vue scénique que sur CD, ce groupe m'a conquis avec son son mélangeant psyché et rock garage...
