There may be a few bands called “The Daffodils” but this bio is about The Daffodils from Edison, Washington. A songwriting project by James Reisen, originally from Seattle, “The Daffodils” began with friend Brian Lelko, who recorded James’s music in his 4 track basement recording studio known Lelkoland in Portland, OR. In 2004 They released a limited edition silk-screened run of “Renee and Eugene”. In 2009, the group solidified as a 3-piece with Jessica Bonin on drums and Thomas J. Farrell on bass, and in 2010, they recorded a 17-song album on Orcas Island entitled “Swim to Shore”. Website: www.thedaffodilsband.com
