listens to The Chords Of Fame a lot

The Chords Of Fame is an American Grindcore band from Essex County, New Jersey. Their sound is sometimes described by publications like Rolling Stone, “everything and nothing all at the same time” (Stone 10/06 Issue 1452). Many of their fans have reported to suffer great elements of “euphoria” (Reuters) and “Gnostic Turpitude” (Nabokov). The Chords Of Fame started in the late 1700s by a group of tribesmen looking for a new way to communicate with God. They transcribed their findings within the grooves of clay pots that could by played back on today’s modern phonograph machines. While, vocalist Alex Caprio was on sabbatical in the islands of the Galapagos, he found a man wearing “a purple robe and long, flowing beard” (New England Journal of Science) that lead him to room in an abandoned plantation that held these clay pots. After dealing with US Customs, Caprio was able to bring these pots to his university and was successfully able to run studies on the sound they contained. He took what he heard and brought it to David Tashjian (Guitar, Armenian Dignitary), Dave Trainer (Guitar, Oregonian Agriculture Manager), Avi Zachary (Bass, Hebrew Scholar AKA A Jew), and Joseph Ott (Drums), to recreate the sound from those antique pots. It was too difficult of a task so they decided to distort all their instruments and play real loud and fast.
