Moving in Stereo...My favorite from the first album,it was way ahead of its time in 1978.

Heard this the first time on a Red House Painters album as a cover. Amazes me every time how much of a classic The Cars' self titled is, and how much I actually love this band.

Ohhhh. That saxophone. Why, oh why, wasn't there a lot more of Greg's sax in the next few records?

This was my first album I bought with my own money. This song has been my favorite ever since. I think the youtube link below is no longer working so here is one I found. the video show them and their 'animated best' (sarcasm - as when I saw them in concert they basically stood and sang). Still a top 5 band in the history of music.

Would be so much more epic if that guitar solo went on for like 4 minutes.

All of "The Cars" is pretty amazing. It doesn't get much better than the final trio of Bye Bye Love, Moving in Stereo and All Mixed Up.

Favourite Cars song and I agree it's the best thing off this excellent album, trumping even Moving in Stereo.

Written By Ric Ocasek, "All Mixed Up" is the last song on The Cars' 1978 self-titled first album. The song features Benjamin Orr (bass guitar) on lead vocals in the studio version, though Ocasek sang lead vocals on the demo version. While not released as a single and not documented on any Billboard chart, the song has received widespread airplay on American FM rock radio stations. On the album, "All Mixed Up" is bridged together with "Moving in Stereo". Both songs are generally played together on AOR and Classic Rock radio stations. The song was also featured as the b-side to the single "Good Times Roll", issued as one 45 RPM record and as a white label promotional 12 inch single. Original video, posted on YouTube: Enjoy !!!
