  • yoga_07: yeah he's a good writer, just not as good of a performer. like with most great things, somebody has done it before, the great this is how you manage to rework it. and seeing how dylan was too scared to record/perform this song himself, well.. it's a good thing he at least shared his work with other musicians..
  • Dylan is nothing. Why? Mr. tamburine man - Author Dylan - The best song of the Byrds All along the watchtower - Author Dylan - The best song of Jimi Hendrix BTW i do not like Robert Allen Zimmerman

I loved the words, I should have known that Dylan wrote it. Dylan writing and the Byrds playing - the way it should be.
  • The song brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it.
  • Song's don't get any better than this.
  • Half-wracked prejudice leaped forth "Rip down all hate." I screamed. Lies that life is black and white. Spoke from my skull, I dreamed. Outstanding! Lines that always get me.
  • fantastic song, fantastic cover.
