Once upon a time, there was a garden on a high hill
Standin' green and [Incomprehensible] against the sea
And there the sun came and the rain pourin' down
the garden grew and splattered bits of color on the ground

I always wanna skip this every time it comes on but I persevere and realise it's great, if not an easy listen. No doubt next time it starts I'll be tempted to skip it...

no, I'm completely with pingpong on this one. Hell, even the rest of the Byrds hated it and thought it was tuneless garbage.

I HATE this song so much. It is meandering, empty, and the lyrics are a young man's poor attempt to sound profound. It goes against everything that made the Byrds exciting - they were tight, clear, interesting, and expanded the possibilities of rock. This song, on the other hand, is introspective garbage.

Todo hay que decirlo, los Beatles se inspiraron en algunas cosillas de estos "pollos"
