to answer Lucy's question (just below) - No. just because someone does a cover version, doesn't mean that they ripped the song. Unless it's done by talentless hacks and boy/ girl bands just because they/ or their producers can't write songs. However In the case of The Byrds, I can feel that they put their own beautiful touch on the songs, and you cannot classify them as rip-offs.
