It's a shame that they're so frequently perceived as a one-hit wonder group. "The Age of Plastic" features depth and rich orchestration that is rarely heard on similar new wave albums. Brilliantly composed and produced. I never get tired of listening to this record.

The people that are criticizing The Buggles for being a one-hit wonder are both stating the obvious (in that, yes, Video Killed... is by far and away their most popular song) but are also showing how ignorant they are of the group and 80's music. Trevor Horn, who was the Buggles' frontman, was one of the best respected producers of the 80's and has helmed more 'hits' than probably anyone else from that decade (ABC, Pet Shop Boys, Art of Noise, latter-day Rush and Yes efforts, etc). Also, but only idiots criticize a group who only has one popular song; everyone who knows anything about music knows you judge a band by its albums first and foremost, and both of the Buggles' albums are stellar. Nickelback has several popular songs and they are an abomination that's actively working to destroy all thought-provoking, interesting, and good music. So is Nickelback better than The Buggles because their popularity is more consistent? Judge for yourself.

I checked around, and it's actually "The Buggles" which is the correct term. See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:The_Buggles#OK.2C_so_this_is_a_bit_late_but.... A Wikipedia member contacted Geoff Downes about this, and this was his response: "We, (me & Trevor) always referred to ourselves as "The Buggles", after originating the name as a spoof on "The Beatles". But the record label, Island (who incidentally hated the name!) dropped the "The", in quite a few promotional instances, as some of the depts thought it the lesser of two evils & more preferable without it....hence, the 2 options. However, when possible, we always tried to use it, as that was what it was all about to us, and we got the joke! Best regards & hope all is well, Geoff"

I guess "Buggles" is the correct. How can we change this?
