Spacegirl and Other Favorites

Spacegirl & Other Favorites is an album by The Brian Jonestown Massacre. The original release was vinyl only, with a limited run of about 500. The band re-released it on CD in 2003 with six bonus demo tracks attached.

The track listing for this album includes numbers from “Crushed” to “Spacegirl Revisited” flowing like the unquestionable quality across the board serves to underline what remarkable musicians these men are.

Later in 2003 a reissued compact disc with bonus tracks include irony bounding obviously, and nowhere more than in the album title itself.

Finally, the closing track, “Fire Song” should be thought of as a free EP with the album, Anton’s gift to you. Might be the best thing Sam Beam has ever done. Listen while stroking your beard, real or imagined as the entirety of the masterpiece is coherent and convincing.
