Biography

The Bodies Obtained
Lower Than My Hand Will Go

Label: Finding You Attractive
Release Date: May 7, 2013

This chaotic, noisy synth punk record is the sound of the early 80’s beaten up with a mallet and the recorded for prosperity. Imagine Suicide in a knife fight with The Residents and you can kind of get a feel of where these guys are coming from. (The Pop! Stereo)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
The Bodies Obtained have returned with their fifth album, Lower Than My Hand Will Go.

The elements of the first four long-players are all there: more cold-fusion synths programmed to simultaneously engage your ear and destroy. Lower Than My Hand Will Go is a timeless piece of music, with songs akin to those of The Residents, The Pop Group and Fad Gadget.

TBO were conceived in Detroit, MI, not much is known of the elusive duo other than the fact that they took their name from the Joy Division song “Day of the Lords”, and whatever other little bits of information they make available to the public via cryptic press releases sent to the media from within the band’s camp.
