The Blockheads are an English rock and roll band. Having played with Ian Dury for many years (as Ian Dury and the Blockheads), the Blockheads continued to play together following Dury’s death (due to colorectal cancer) in 2000. In 2009, the Blockheads released the album Staring Down The Barrel.

Still great. "Same Horse Different Jockey" continues their rich vein of form. And, should you be lucky enough to have the opportunity to see them live, grab it with both hands.

Upon finally listening, so far I think "Where's The Party?" is better than "Starring Down The Barrel". The songs are much better and I also thought that trying to imitate Ian Dury's voice on the new one was a bit cheesy.

I was lucky enough to see these outdoors in a rainy South Shields. Despite the weather they kept us all buzzing! Would love to see them live again. Brilliant!
