The Bleeding Light is quite an obscure one-man band from France. Its sound is rather difficult to categorise: it is a healthy hybrid of industrial (in all its shapes and forms), black metal, ambient / atmospheric / soundscape all pinned together with a solid groove. The Bleeding Light is sometimes described as the line where industrial meets dark metal.

The man behind The Bleeding Light doesn't reveal his identity. He uses the pseudonym "Nevsky" because the famous Russian prince Alexander Nevsky is his distant ancestor.

In the song Kyrie Eleison samples of Christian chanting are used, they were recorded in a monastery in Russia.
