Suggesting that any songs on here should've been cut should count as blasphemy. Except maybe Rocky Raccoon cause that one kind of stinks

Without any given name, it became referred as WHITE ALBUM. Just a matter of usus. Revolution Nine, to my mind, is a mere experiment, not music. What's of a tune about it? As a whole, a good album. John and Paul in all their strength. While My Guitar Gently Weeps by George is excellent.

That should go without saying, but a quick glance at the charts tells us that more people are tagging it wrong than right. Sad.

I don't care for this one all that much. To me they made huge steps forward with Rubber Soul -> Magical Mystery Tour (well, MMT was essentially just Sgt. Pepper Redux, but the songwriting was better) and basically abandoned artistic progress with this album in favor of making a collection of (frequently very good) songs. It's too disjointed and the rifts within the group are too apparent for my liking. I hate to be the "with some editing, this could be an outstanding single album" guy, but I feel it's very much true in this case. "Revolution #9" is actually not one of the duffers on here IMO, though; I think it's a fascinating experimental track and I would've welcomed some more exploration and experimentation from the rest of the tracks.

This album with about 5 songs less would be perfect
