Isn't It Time (4:03)

A greatly overlooked band from the 70s. Yeah, they had a couple of hits but they were much better than that. Of course, they also produced some real cheeeeeez. The musicianship was awesome, and the lead singer, John Waite, was not only a great bassist but a phenomenal singer!
As far as their song, Isn’t It Time, it’s truly a mix of RnB, Soul, and incredible Pop! One of the most beautiful and memorable songs - and melodies - that has ever been written. Ranks up there with The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Elton John, and others. Very much a composition from the 70s, but very much a classic!

Falling in love was the
Last thing I had on my mind
Holding you is a warmth
That I thought I could never find

Let's face it we all have different opinions and tastes on music, that's what makes the world go around, but surely anyone who has ever listened to contemporary music must rate this as definitive pop, it really cannot get any better in that category, can it?, out of this world

I adored this track when I was in middle school, and still love it today. I have a very specific memory of riding around in the car with my dad and siblings, and this song was on the radio. Always used to set my mind off to daydream, like a good pop tune should. :)
