The B Goodes are an original Big Beat, Pop, Rock and Rock’n’SoulRoll band. An energetic live act, boasting 4 part harmonies and the catchiest pop rock melodies anywhere! Taking influences from various classic Artists such as The Kinks, The Beatles, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Zombies, Beach Boys etc… and have been described by Neil Innes of Monty Python & The Rutles as ‘Better Than The Beatles’!

Hailing from Ipswich, Suffolk, The B.Goodes formed in 2008 with a shared view to write and perform original music taking influence from the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s. The sound which came out was a mixture of beat, surf, soul and rock ‘n’ roll.

The B. Goodes are John Brett (vocals, guitar), Phil Jackson (vocals, piano/keys/guitar), Jay Goodrich (bass, harmonies) and John Randall (drums, harmonies).

An energetic live act, The B.Goodes have enjoyed amongst other things, supporting The Moons, and at the end of 2010, collaborated for a four week residency with Neil Innes of The Rutles, Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band and Monty Python fame.

Their track ‘Feel Alright’ earned Song of the Year 2010 by BBC Suffolk Introducing presenters Graeme Mac and Richard Haugh. The B Goodes recently performed at the Latitude Festival to much applaud and will be coming to a town near you soon!

The B. Goodes performed on the Lake Stage at Lattitude 2011 one of the UKs top music festivals.
