Planet Claire (4:33)

Cover of The B-52's

From The B-52's and 26 other releases

Where do you start? Planet Claire defined, for me, that music could be different, yet fun. With friends that were suffering on a diet of the miserable Manchester sound, Athens Georgia was my salvation.

The B-52s still sound fresh after all these years - it is a surprise to see that there are only 9 tracks on their eponymous album, the sound is so full.

If your aim is to get the party started, this song, the album it came off along with “She’s So Unusual” by Cyndi Lauper will do the job admirably.

She came from Planet Claire
I knew she came from there

Spy realness. Loved how they used it in "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" to reveal Demi Moore as the villainess.

This is OK but I sure would love to hear the original version. Live generally isn't that enjoyable unless you saw them live yourself - some exceptions of course.

Even though I've listened to this song for years I didn't notice it doesn't have a chorus until today, April 17th 2012.

This isn't off the original album, but yet another live version from "With the Wild Crowd". How about playing the original versions for a change?
