    OK, he is not wearing a wedding ring because he does not consider himself married. He has had an affair of at least 2 years with Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter) and has left the family values of NC for the money and fame of LA. He is just a man after all in spite of the soulful looks and sweet words. He probably has enough money now to throw at his wife and make her go away so he can start over.

    Makes me very sad, true about divorce, don't know about other "relationship" [nice word for it, if true]. Avett fans have been sold "family values" and bought it hl&s - can't listen to this song anymore - OR many many others. Broke my heart.
