    Man I love this album. The production work is a lot more intense than Dan the Automators work on Dr. Octagon, so I don't feel it's very comparable. I wish the Avalanches did more work with actual rapping. Or, you know, more releases than this and Since I Left You.

    When I first downloaded this, I almost thought it had to be some other group of the same name, then of course that parrot squawking sample they'd later reuse showed up. Crazy awesome, especially "Rock City". I can definitely see the dr. octagon comparison, especially with lyrics like "tiger eating shark ants understand in outer space".
