The Association is a band from California in the genre. As of 2012 they are still playing with a constantly rotating membership but which always includes at least one original member. They are best known for their popularity in the , when they had numerous hits at or near the top of the charts. They are known for tight vocal harmony, influenced by The Hi-Los and The Lettermen.

    The Association are playing Valentines day Weekend Saturday Feb 12, 2011 at Queens College colden auditorium in Flushing NY with The Vogues & The Happenings. And Sunday Feb 13, 2011 at Rams Head in Annapolis MD.

    Really enjoyed this group doing "Cherish" which was popular in the late 60s when I started college. Always remember playing pool in the 'sub' listening to the jukebox play this timeless song. God bless~!
