    I like Funeral, but I think Neon Bible outshines it in almost every way. It shows the band maturing in a logical and very pleasing way.

    i don't think any of the 2 albums would be worse than the other, it's just the difference between them... for me, neon bible is more intense and when i listen to, for example, intervention, i always think of ships and soldiers and stuff... :D

    As a whole, Neon Bible works better than Funeral. If I want to hear a whole Arcade Fire album on at once; I'll choose Neon Bible. If I want select Arcade Fire songs, I'd pick ones from Funeral.
