Well I'm Southbound, Lord I'm comin' home to you
Lord I'm Southbound, baby, Lord I'm comin' home to you
I got that old lonesome feelin' that's sometimes called the blues

My dad said he could picture Mickey Gilley sitting in on that piano there!!! What a sight that would have been, but I guess okay. The Allman Brothers would've jammed with just about anyone. The famous backing band for Wilson Pickett!!! The wicked Mr. Pickett!!! That's Duane Allman on Wilson's version of "Hey Jude". This one hell of a jam!!!

On the front of the album - A photograph of Vaylor Trucks,Butch's son. On the back of the album- A photogragh of Brittany Oakley, the late Berry Oakley's daughter. (The Brothers And Sisters album,in case anyone was interested) I remember buying this album in 1973 and looking at the inside cover art with a photo of the whole extended Allman Bros Family. It looked like the whole town of Macon was there in the photo,I recall. Good times !!! ( :
