    An interesting footnote to the "Live At The Fillmore" sessions was that for the first night only (3/12/71)They had a Session's horns player up there on stage..He wasn't working out,Gregg said.. A lot of that album,Gregg said also was mixed,etc from that 2nd night's Concert (3/13/71)..For example,Song #4 - "You Don't Love Me/Soul Serenade" (IMHO Duane's blazing,blaring best-ever solo!) ..The first 7 minutes of song (First night.) .The last 7+ minutes (Duane's solo,etc - The 2nd night).. Packaged and mixed that way..Read about it in -" Dreams " The Allman Bros Boxset (1989) Liner Notes. John <( - ;

    They lifted more of their arrangement from Taj Mahal's version of it..They both toured together in 1971.. I was a small lad back then and luckily saw em both!

    The ABB do Elmore James great justice with this rendition of his song. "Live At The Fillmore East" is essential ABB.
