About This Track

“Here’s Where the Story Ends” is a single by the music group The Sundays. It was released on their album Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic. Although it was the Sundays’ biggest hit internationally, the track was never released as a single in the group’s native United Kingdom due to the collapse of the Rough Trade Records label, but made it to #1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart in the United States.
Many artists have covered this song, such as a UK Top Ten Single by Tin Tin Out.

The music video for this song on "120 Minutes" 21 years ago introduced me to them, and Harriette Wheeler has been my favorite vocalist ever since.
